Together, we can build a more equitable, low-carbon transport futureāone ride at a time.
Why Now? While more people are cycling than ever, women remain underrepresented, particularly when it comes to using bikes for transport, errands, or family trips. Common barriers include safety concerns, lack of confidence, and access to the right equipment.
Sheās Electric addresses these head-on, with engaging local events designed to help women experience how e-cycles can fit into real, everyday life.
A Better Ride: Gloucestershireās Cycle Spine A key enabler of this campaign is the Gloucestershire Cycle Spineāa major new cycling infrastructure project connecting Cheltenham and Gloucester with a safe, continuous cycle route.
The Cycle Spine is a game-changer for local transport, offering safer, more accessible options for everyday cycling. Itās designed to support all kinds of riders, including families, beginners, and e-bike usersāmaking this the perfect moment to empower more women to ride confidently and regularly.
Who We Are Sheās Electric is delivered by Loud Mobility, a social enterprise committed to making transport systems more inclusive, sustainable, and community-focused. We collaborate with councils, partners and local residents to co-create positive changeāhelping people move beyond car dependency.
